Traditional treatments for low back pain are coming under increasing scientific scrutiny to see if they’re safe and effective. They aren’t doing well. Millions of these procedures are done every year. Pfizer is the pharmaceutical company that makes Depo-Medrol, the most commonly used cortisone drug used in these injections. It has asked the FDA to ban their use in spinal injections because of all the problems.
